PHASE ONE COMPLETE!  A new Logger Concession Stand opened in the Fall of 2023.  The Vernonia Booster Club serves burgers and other items during home athletic events.

HELP US RAISE FUNDS FOR A NEW COVERED STADIUM!

The Stadium Project is continuing to move forward with several levels of success.  The Stadium Committee has raised nearly $650,000 in donations and in-kind contributions in the past four years.  This has led to the successful completion of phase one of the project.  The Concession Stand / Restrooms was turned over to the School District in October of 2023.  The Committee is now focusing on phase two, the covered stadium itself.  The Committee has almost $300,000 in the account and has a goal of making that $500,000 by the end of December, 2024.  With that amount towards the $900,000 needed to complete phase two, the Committee will be able to apply for matching grants and other grant opportunities that will make the covered stadium a reality.   The Committee has hired Rose City Philanthropy to help find grants  that will fit the parameters of the project.   Rose City Philanthropy has been very helpful in locating grants, and the committee is committed to following their leads to secure the necessary funds to complete phase two.  If you have experience with grant writing, the committee needs and welcomes your participation on the committee.   Please contact the Vernonia School District.
